The Story

From zero to Steam

Tidecrest Studios is a three person game studio from Romania. We are young, we are loud, and we are completely serious about making games people remember.

We started by asking a simple question: what if we just made the games we actually want to play? The answer became One-In, a psychological multiplayer game about a table, a revolver and three friends you should not trust. It is out on Steam right now with 100% positive reviews.

Next up is Dicempo, our dice rogue-lite where you roll combos, answer cursed phone calls and race deadlines. And after that? The drawer of ideas never empties.

Three members. Many hats. This is how an indie studio actually works.

K4N

Lead Developer • Code • Game Design • Animation

K4N delivers broken builds at 4 AM and has the nerve to call himself a game developer. Technically he does the code, the game design, the animations and the music, but mostly he generates bugs at industrial scale and lets the other two make it all look professional. Lead by default, because someone has to take the blame, and it is always his fault anyway.

3D Models • Textures • Rigging • Inverse Kinematics

Every robot, every table, every creepy thing that moves in a Tidecrest game was built by Stefania. She models it, textures it, rigs it and wires up the inverse kinematics so it moves like it has a soul. The dealer would be a floating cube without her. She is the reason these games look like games and not like K4N's homework.

Icons • 2D Art • Steam Capsules

The first thing you ever see from a Tidecrest game, the capsule that makes you stop scrolling on Steam, that is Miruna. All the icons, all the 2D art, every capsule, every card and every ability symbol comes from her hands. The One-In robots were her sketches before they were anyone's nightmares. If it looks good anywhere, thank Miruna.
